Alan November

I thought he brough up a lot of thought-provoking points. I liked the way the video was filmed in sort of a slow motion, black/white, and with regular life activities going on. (Not that I regularly: buy, boil, and eat lobster...but you get my drift). It set a mood of slowing down and taking in his points. I agree that school needs to meet up with the outside world and engage and empower students to be active participants in their education. If they are never taught to feel important than many of them fall through the cracks. There must be a better way.

  1. Slowing down and letting students have time to absorb and think is important. We need to help them get comfortable with quiet.
